A fully rigged digital twin capturing her iconic 80s look, built for animation, conversation and holographic deployment.
We brought the legendary Tina Turner to life, digitally. Our team created a fully rigged digital twin capturing her iconic 80s look, ready for animation, conversation and immersive deployment at scale.
The primary objective centred on creating a digital human that could hold a conversation in a natural way, without relying on spectacle. Subtle facial motion, controlled pacing, and clarity of expression mattered more than exaggeration. A simple benchmark guided every decision: would this feel believable if you were sitting across from it?
The demo serves as a foundation that can scale into interactive virtual agents, educational experiences, museum installations, and full holographic systems. Future iterations explore deeper interaction, richer emotional range, and more responsive behaviours, all grounded in the same artistic rigour that defines the original build.
From digital twins to always-on conversational avatars, let's talk about what you're building.
The Digital Tina Turner project, commissioned by Arvato Bertelsmann, captures the singer's iconic 80s likeness as a fully rigged digital twin, built for animation, conversation and holographic deployment. Every facial detail, every grooming pass, every shader was tuned to honor Tina Turner's expressive performance presence while remaining flexible enough for realtime conversation and stage activation.
Photoreal digital twins of public figures sit at the most demanding end of the digital human craft. Audiences know the face, any uncanny detail breaks the spell. We combined high-resolution scan data with custom MetaHuman blendshape work, hair groom simulation and a full LLM-driven dialogue layer so the character can hold a conversation in character voice. The result performs across web, kiosk, holographic projection and broadcast deployments.
Digital twins like this are the future of legacy estate management, museum and exhibition experiences, and branded entertainment. See our other digital human projects or talk to us about a digital twin commission.
