Update

This event has since taken place. Read the write-up: Unreal Day 2026 Belgrade, live talking avatar demos and a visit to 3Lateral.

I'm excited to share that I'll be speaking at Unreal Day 2026, joining a lineup of creators, engineers and studio founders who are pushing Unreal Engine into genuinely new territory.

What the talk is about

My session is focused on digital humans for immersive experience: how to design, build and deploy photoreal AI characters that work in live events, installations, brand activations and interactive venues, not just on a screen in a browser tab.

The conversation around digital humans tends to stay in the enterprise lane: customer service bots, virtual assistants, sales tools. Those are real use cases and we build them. But the part of this work that genuinely excites me is what happens when you put a conversational digital human in a physical space, at a festival, in a museum, at a product launch, in an XR headset. The rules change completely. Presence works differently. Latency expectations are different. The way people want to interact is different.

I'll be covering how we approach those constraints at Digito: from the pipeline side (Pixel Streaming, Whisper-based offline speech recognition, low-latency voice synthesis) to the character design side (persona, memory, restraint) to the hardware side (kiosk deployments, LED volumes, holographic rigs).

Why Unreal Day

Unreal Day is one of the few events that brings together the people actually building production projects in Unreal Engine, not just talking about what's possible. The conversations in the hallways are as valuable as the sessions. If you're coming, reach out before the event and let's find time to connect.
